Terms of Service

Every client gets the same level of attention no matter how big or small the project. I am offering both business and e-commerce websites with HTML and CMS designs.

Jerwin Pastoral Website Design and Development always gives a complete estimate with each web site project accept. Jerwin Pastoral state the maximum fee that the client will be expected to pay. Once the client agrees to the set fee, Jerwin Pastoral issues a contract stating the fixed fee and the project objectives. Client is required to submit a 50% downpayment at contract signing. This amount can be paid by online billing sysyem, credit card via paypal, business check, or personal check. The amount of the downpayment covers all labor costs involved in creating the initial design concept, navigation infrastructure, establishing and setting up the hosting account, and setting up and mapping the domain name.

Once the first phase of the project is completed, client is required to view the initial design concept, approve the concept or request modifications and then approve the design, and submit all proofread content to Jerwin Pastoral. Client have the access to Jerwin Pastoral Project Management or contacting during the entire development process to approve placement of text, and any edits that need to be done to content.

Once all content is approved, the site is built and deployed to the live server, client is required to make a final approval and submit approval in e-mail for Jerwin Pastoral to bill the final 50%. This amount can be paid by online billing system, credit card via paypal, business check, or personal check.

Because of Jerwin Pastoral Website Design and Development payment policies, once the development process has passed through the initial design phase, only the 25% can be refunded because the remainder of the fee is all labor that has been integrated with the Content Management System or Backend Development at third phase of the project.

Jerwin Pastoral Website Design and Development will refund your downpayment on your web site if:

Jerwin Pastoral cannot come to an agreement on a design concept for the site. Jerwin Pastoral have worked with hundreds of clients and have always been able to resolve design issues and Jerwin Pastoral will work hard with every client to ensure they are happy or satesfied. If for some reason, Jerwin Pastoral encountered a client that don’t think can satisfy, Jerwin Pastoral will refund only the part of the downpayment related to design. This equates to about 50% of the initial downpayment.

Jerwin Pastoral will NOT issue refunds for the following reasons:

Once embarking on the project, and paying the downpayment, you just change your mind about building the site or you can’t get the money to finish the project.

You found another company that can finish the project cheaper. Jerwin Pastoral will be glad to give you the source files for the design, and you can take them to another company to finish the project.

Any other reason than the one reason that Jerwin Pastoral will refund the downpayment as stated above.

Upon completion of a custom website design and payment of web design and development fees, the client is the owner of the website. The client may continue to use the developed website to promote the client’s company or organization regardless of whether he/she chooses to continue further services with Jerwin Pastoral. The client does not have the right to resell the design or development to other companies. The client does have the right to add pages onto the existing site or have another company add pages onto the existing site using the website design or development.

Most customers pay twice a year or annual for web site hosting. Once paid, these fees are non-refundable. Hosting accounts are set up at the time of order and are allotted a specific amount of server resources, according to the plan purchased. If client did not make use of the account, payment for services is still due. Hosting accounts are not canceled until notice is received from the client, or until 15 days after due date of payment not received. If client paid for hosting account for 12 or 24 months ahead and cancels service before plan expiration date, a refund may be given for the months not yet elapsed. If client received free products and/or services with their hosting plan purchase, the value of the free services will be deducted from the refund amount. Customers need to submit a request in writing to cancel their hosting account prior to their payment term renewal date.

Website domain names are leased from domain name registration companies. When Jerwin Pastoral registers a domain name for a client, that registration will be made in the client’s name. Upon payment of any outstanding fees, the client has the right to use that domain name regardless of whether he/she chooses to continue further services with Jerwin Pastoral. Domain name renewal and renewal fees are the responsibility of the client. If the client chooses to have Jerwin Pastoral renew the domain name on behalf of the client, an additional service fee ill apply. Clients are advised to closely monitor the renewal date of a registered domain name and to verify that the renewal of said domain name has been completed using Jerwin Pastoral online billing system. Jerwin Pastoral cannot be responsible for expired domain names.
